HerSound is my playlist project for 2020. Approximately every two weeks I curate a playlist of female artists and my picks of new and old, popular and B-side tracks from a mix of genres, intended to help me discover new female artists, and amplify their voices.

My favourite part of this project so far is the motivation to seek out a bunch of new artists and I am currently particularly in love with LÉON and MUNA (and a whole lot of others). I just(!) learned of Alexandra Stréliski 🤯 because of her 3 JUNO noms. It's hard to resist adding Kate Bush to every playlist I do, and this particular heavy-breakup-mood track felt right with some damn tasty guitar by Eric Clapton.
